The Return of Witco

witco_pink.jpg

Witco was this badass furniture and decor company that started in the late 1950s, by William Westenhaver, and continued production into the 1990s. It was a quite popular tropical island-inspired brand, through the 1970s. The tradition is continued within the family, and you can still purchase the Witco brand over at the Pleasant Tiki web page (https://witcodecor.com).

We’ve seen Witco pieces, from time to time, but have yet to add one to our collection. This illustration started with the Witco homage on the wall, then came the layers of tiki doodles from the trusty sketchbook.

What do you think, Lagoon dwellers? Should this one make the cut as a limited edition giclee print?
